This paper draws attention to a method for constructing polyhedra such as the Platonic solids from circles. The
construction method naturally segues into exploring and reinforcing various geometric concepts from the
elementary to the university level. Practical, pedagogical and aesthetic reasons for using a circle cutter to construct
polyhedra are discussed.
