Wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit
My research fuses Computer Vision and Graphics technologies to tackle Big Data problems in visual media, in particular new ways to search and present large visual media collections. These include sketch based search of photos and video, artistic stylization of home media collections, visual search of dance using photos and sketched choreographic queries. My group is actively developing technologies for film and broadcast production, including automatic metadata annotation (object recognition), 3D character animation, and 2D Non-photorealistic rendering (NPR).
