Hideyuki Takagi ist ein japanischer Computerwissenschaftler (* 1956 in der Gifu Präfektur), dessen Hauptforschungsgebiet interaktive Evolutionäre Algorithmen sind. Er ist Professor am Department Design der Kyushu University.


Wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit

Hideyuki Takagi hat einen Bachelor und Master in Design von der Kyushu Universität (1979 und 1981) und einen PhD von der Toyohashi University of Technology (1991).

Er forscht im Bereich Computer Intelligenz und interessiert sich für die Kooperation und Interaktion von AI-Technologie (Neuronale Netze, Fuzzy Systeme, Evolutionary Computation) und dem Menschen (Humanized Computational Intelligence). Schwerpunkt ist Interactive Evolutionary Computation (IEC).
