Person
Prof. Tatsuo Unemi ist ein japanischer Computerwissenschaftler und Digitaler Künstler (* 1956 in Kanazawa Ishikawa Präfektur, Japan), der im Department of Information Systems Science, an der Soka University arbeitet.
Wissenschaftliche Tätigkeit
Tatsuo Unemis's akademische Ausbildung umfasst einen Bachelor of Engineering (1978) am Department of Control Engineering, einen Master of Engineering (1980) am Department of System Science und einen PhD jeweils am Tokyo Institute of Technology.
Künstlerische Tätigkeit
Seit Ende der 1990er entwickelt Tatsuo Unemis SBART ein System zur Evolutionären Kunst und wendet es für seine künstlerischen Zwecke an. Mit den so enstandenen Werken bzw. mit SBART selbst hatte er Ausstellungen, Live-Auftritte und Demonstrationen in Japan, USA, Italien, Spanien, Deutschland, England und Polen.
